Hunting Seasons

Hunting is year round as the deer species shed their antlers at different times, However, the most popular time to hunt is from April through to September as all species can be hunted at this time.

Firearms

If you want to hunt with your own rifle, we can arrange the necessary permits. Alternatively we have rifles in a variety of calibres you are welcome to use. Clients can test-fire rifles at the beginning of the hunt.

Trophy Shipment

Cost of crating, expedition and documentation is $100 per shoulder skin and $200 per full body skin plus crate cost $200 (one per shipment).

Equipment

A wide brimmed hat and sunblock are important any time of year. Although hunting season is our dry season, a waterproof/windproof jacket is recommended. Gloves and a warm hat are handy as morning and night-time temperatures can reach below freezing.

How to Get There

You can Fly direct from LA to Brisbane or alternatively link through Sydney or New Zealand if you wish to do a little sight seeing on the way. Flights can be booked through Qantas.
